Supplier Quality Business Process Expert (U.S. Hub Based)In this role, you will be the one person within Philips who has the authority to determine how the purchased component/Sub Assembly/Medical Device qualification process operates. You will be responsible to evolve the process in a manner that ensures it continues to meet compliance and business needs today and into the future.Your role:

Responsibility and Authority:

Serve Philips as the Subject Matter Expert on Purchased Component/Sub Assembly/Med Device qualification, including process validation; Review, approve, implement, and communicate process changes and /or improvements.

Process Design and Interaction:

Define the process and its purpose; Know what about the process is critical to quality and compliance.

Thoroughly understand processes adjacent to Component/Sub-Assembly/Med Device qualification process (inputs). Know what processes rely on output from the Component/Sub-Assembly/Med Device qualification process (outputs.

Provide effective linkages to adjacent processes; Ensure the process is fully documented, and that the documented process is consistently used as intended.

Act as a servant leader to process users (Supplier Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers). Ensure they have sufficient high-quality training to do their job well; Develop tools that help process users convey Philips Component/Sub-Assembly/Med Device requirements to suppliers and OEM partners effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Ensuring Philips Component/Sub-Assembly/Med Device qualification process is best in class and compliant to all applicable regulations.

Monitor process performance with data; Benchmark how other successful Medical Device companies qualify; Network with component qualification process owners.

You're the right fit if:

You’ve acquired 10+ years of experience in either a Quality, new product introduction (NPI) or continuous improvement function within a large matrix organization. Experience in the deployment and use of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), xFMEA, Control Plans, Process Validation, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and/or Measurement Systems Analysis. Experience in a regulated industry (strongly preferred).

Your skills include in depth experience with quality systems, quality tools and methodologies.

You have a bachelor’s degree or higher (engineering or science field preferred).

You’re an excellent written and verbal communicator, self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision, and able to think out of the box and adapt to commercial context. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to identify process gaps to create continuous improvement and a best in class qualifications process.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
