We are looking for an engineer who has full stack programming experience and is enthusiastic to build and maintain new applications, improving our Guest and Cast experiences.You will:- Design and implement reliable, high-throughput, low latency, scalable and well-documented code to tackle sophisticated algorithms
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other partners to propose extensible, reusable and performant solutions
- Proactively seek opportunities to reuse or generalize existing services and implementations
- Experiment, develop proof of concept with relevant new technologies
- Conduct code review pull-requests with consistent scrutiny
- Able to work independently to analyze and solve issues as an individual contributor
- Troubleshoot, fix problems reported in lower and production environments
- Write unit and component tests to ensure delivery of high quality code
- Monitor and proactively improve production run quality of applications
- Work in a scrum team and provide your daily updates
- Estimate effort for assigned development tasks, assist in estimating level of effort for less senior level developers
- 5+ years of software engineering, analysis and design with full software development lifecycle experience
- 5+ years with Internet technologies, microservices architectures
- 4+ years of developing cloud native applications, preferably in AWS
- Experience with scripting languages like JavaScript and frameworks such as Angular/ react
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming with an understanding of design principles
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools
