- Work as part of an embedded software test team for software verification and validation activities
- Collaborate with embedded system architects, software developers and system requirement engineers to author test cases based upon software and systems requirements.
- Execute Software test activities associated with software unit verification (SWE.4), software integration (SWE.5), and software qualification test (SWE.6)
- Execute testing-related activities that span multiple programs and work sites
- Responsible for generating, capturing, and organizing required test cases and test results within requirements management tool
- Use industry-leading automotive tools to automate testing next-generation automotive sensing technology including developing automation scripts
- Run automation test suite for software integration & software qualification testing to run on existing CICD framework
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of testing software experience using varied approaches (e.g. static, dynamic, white-box, black-box) at different levels (e.g. unit testing, integration testing, software testing and system testing)
- Experience developing Test cases and Test procedures
- Development of testing scripts (Python, Canoe, CAPL or equivalent scripting languages)
- Have hands-on experience using automated testing tools (e.g. VectorCAST/C, Continuous Integration) or automated testing frameworks (e.g. Google Test)
- Working knowledge using microcontroller peripherals including ADCs, DACs, Flash, EEPROM, timers, and watchdogs
- Master's degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication interfaces (e.g. CAN, Automotive Ethernet)
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR framework; UDS over CAN and Ethernet
- Knowledge of or experience testing Bootloader functionality
- Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of automotive and specialized communication protocols including one or more of DoIP, SOME/IP, DDS, XCP, gPTP
- Hands-on experience using automotive client software such as Vector Tooling (e.g. CANoe, CANape) to diagnose, communicate with, and test ECUs
- Use of requirements management tool suites (e.g. Doors, JAMA) to establish requirements traceability for all testing artifacts
- Knowledge of full lifecycle process including bi-directional traceability across V-cycle in safety-critical industries such as automotive, medical, or military design
- Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) development experience
- Hands-on experience improving automation capabilities using continuous integration (CI)
