Job Description

Sales Managers are responsible for the sales results of their Groups. Develop key client relationships and lead the preparation of project estimates and proposals. Sales Managers have significant experience in construction and are adept at managing several projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate bid opportunities

  • Meet with clients to determine their needs and value engineering opportunities

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits

  • Collaborate with operations teams to determine the best way to build the project

  • Participate in estimating

  • Prepare and deliver proposals to clients

  • Facilitate turning over the project to the operations team after project award

  • Mentor junior staff

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent degree and experience, P.E. a plus

  • 5+ years’ experience in geotechnical construction (Earth Retention, Deep foundations, Ground Improvement)

  • Successful work history with designing, bidding, and managing geotechnical construction projects

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge and expertise of geotechnical construction a plus

  • Travel is required
