Landscaping Director

As a Landscaping Director, you will:Develop and execute the strategic vision and direction for the Landscaping department, aligning with the resort's overall goals and objectives.Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Landscaping team fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence while enforcing accountability.Implement, train, and enforce safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.Create and effectively manage the Landscaping Department’s schedule & budget; reserves and capital expenditures, P&L reviews, and forecasting expenses.Oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of the resort's infrastructure, grounds, and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Lead the planning and execution of major Capital and Reserves improvement projects, from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring contract compliance and effective partnership.Responsible for the procurement and inventory of all tools and materials purchased and assigned to the Landscaping Department.Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications.Perform custodial and maintenance duties, as needed.Other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership.
