- The IT Hardware Coordinator is responsible for the strategic management of technology-related hardware within the POS organization. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording hardware software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts. The individual will assist in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the POS organization and will also develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Formulates and implements processes, procedures and systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement and disposal. • Account for the IT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the POS organization. • Collaborate with Engineering Leads and Leadership for the assignments of IT hardware and related products. • Develop and conduct training as needed for use by department level staff to maintain inventory. Provide expertise on Asset Management life cycle to multiple stakeholders. • Manage acquisition of assets from planning through deployment. • Report to senior management ITAM/life cycles and resolve conflicts including purchase, installation, commissioning, maintenance contracts, upgrades, modifications, configuration details, decommissioning / disposal. • Verify, enter, and adjust equipment IT asset management data in a variety of forms, schedules, and reports. Maintain records information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the POS organization's hardware and software. • Track entire life-cycle management for each asset to maintain warranty information, refresh date, and end of life data information. • Establish metrics and reporting for asset compliance. • Maintain 100 percent inventory accuracy and function. • Conduct physical inventories and compliance reports. Develop written plans, policies, and procedures to document processes to support the asset management lifecycle. • Conduct inventory audits and develop processes and procedures to ensure accuracy • Develop and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders from multiple areas and reporting levels. • Provide status reports and dashboard reporting. • Other duties as assigned.
