Contract position (2 - 3 months) for an Accounting Administrative Assistant supporting a project for a municipal transportation organization in Orlando. This position will perform a variety of administrative tasks and some basic accounting duties to support accounting operations. Their responsibilities may include:Job Title: Accounting Administrative AssistantLocation: Orlando, FLPay: $18.00/hrWhat’s the Job?

Processing documents: Answering phones and emails, filing paperwork, scanning documents, and preparing and sending purchase orders, credit memos, and invoices

Managing accounts: Keeping track of spending, reconciling accounting statements, and monitoring and following up with accounts payable

Supporting vendor relations: Settling accounts with vendors

Creating financial reports: Preparing profit-and-loss statements and balance sheets, and regularly creating spending reports

Entering data into department files and records either hard copy or computer.

Copying and duplicating materials requested.

What’s Needed?

H.S. Diploma or GED (Preferred).

3 - 4 years of experience performing administrative/clerical support.

1 -2 years of experience in accounts payable processes

Experience using MS Excel, Word, Outlook.

Ability to type 40-WPM.

Ability to pass a 7-year background check and drug screening.
