Instruct patients in preventive dental techniques
Assisting a high number of patients as required
Ability to work with dentists, assistants, student assistants and volunteers
What You'll NeedRequired:
Ability to speak and understand English
Must pass level 2 background, drug screen and MVR
Must have an active Florida Dental Hygienist License, in good standing
Current/active CPR certificate
Experience working as a dental hygienist using dental instruments, performing dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning
Ability to instruct patients in preventive dental techniques
Ability to multi-task and exceptional time management to handle a high number of patients
Preferred:
Experience with Pediatric patients
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal
Experience using EagleSoft and HMS computer systems
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
