As a mentor, educator, and coach, you will develop creative ways to inspire your team to deliver an outstanding performance every day.</p><p><strong>W H A T Y O U ’ L L D O</strong></p><ul><li>Provide an authentic, friendly customer experience that exemplifies our commitment to a relentless customer focus.</li><li>Collaborate with the Store Manager to establish and communicate all critical metrics, expectations, and key aspects to drive team engagement, sales, design, and exceptional customer service.</li><li>Coach, develop, and lead all aspects of performance, development, safety, and recognition for the team to ensure continuous growth and build a bench of talent.</li><li>Oversee and develop the Design team's knowledge of our product, selling, service, operations, and other aspects of their roles; Provide coaching and support their allocated workload.</li><li>Manage virtual and in-store design appointments (including preparation of design deliverables, product curation and follow-up) to drive growth and incremental sales.</li><li>Maintain leadership presence to include, effectively managing the floor, driving sales, scheduling the right team, in the right place at the right time, and ensuring the MOD is in role throughout the day.</li><li>Create and maintain a culture that achieves a respectful work environment where individual differences are valued and appreciated.</li><li>Model and ensure all policies and procedures are communicated effectively, maintained, and consistently followed.</li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>W H A T Y O U ’ L L N E E D</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of leadership experience involving motivating a team to achieve sales goals</li><li>Experience establishing and maintaining a client base and design program.</li><li>Client-centric mindset and strong business acumen</li><li>Interior design, furniture, or home goods experience preferred</li><li>Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</li><li>Proven ability to motivate, influence, and inspire yourself and others</li><li>Track record of thriving in a fast-paced and changing environment</li><li>Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule to include morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.</li><li>Employment/promotion to this role will be contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug test.</li></ul><p><strong>P H Y S I C A L R E Q U I R E M E N T S</strong></p><ul><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
