Project Manager (Electrical / Lightning Suppression Systems)
Location: Remote (Florida-based projects)
Capitol Electronics installs lightning suppression systems across Florida and is seeking a Project Manager with an electrical background—ideally a licensed electrician or someone with strong practical experience—to oversee residential and commercial installations.
This is a part-time, remote opportunity best suited for an independent contractor. You’ll act as the point person for each project, coordinating between the customer, the installer, and our internal team. Compensation is provided on a flat-rate, per-project basis.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate residential and commercial lightning suppressor installations
Communicate with customers (typically homeowners of $1M+ residences or commercial building managers)
Order and track delivery of project materials (suppressor, mast, wire, grounding rods, etc.)
Direct installers and ensure timely, quality completion of work
Verify that the installer submits photo documentation of the completed installation
Ideal Candidate:
Background in electrical work (residential or commercial)
Self-motivated and organized with strong communication skills
Comfortable managing projects remotely via phone and internet
Based in Florida or with knowledge of Florida building practices
