We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Order Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of orders within our medical practice. Medical Order Processor Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to all patients

Process hormone, supplement, and weight loss orders through multiple channels (online, phone, and in-person)

Place hormone therapy orders with our partner compounding pharmacies

Prepare and ship online supplement orders, including creating accurate shipping labels

Maintain digital supplement inventory with precision and attention to detail

Address basic patient inquiries regarding supplement products and their uses

Collect and document new patient information, demographics, and insurance details

Accurately identify and classify appropriate reason codes for patient appointments

Verify insurance benefits and eligibility using AdvancedMD and Availity platforms

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently

Manage supplement and hormone tracking, including sending reorder reminders

Coordinate Well Woman patient reminders according to established protocols

Prepare digital troche forms and digital encounters/superbills for upcoming appointments

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred

Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a medical office, pharmacy, or healthcare setting

Experience with order processing systems (AdvancedMD) and electronic health records

Strong attention to detail with emphasis on prescription and order accuracy

Excellent customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively with patients

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel for inventory management)

Experience with shipping procedures and shipping software

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information

Strong organizational skills with capability to prioritize multiple responsibilities

Previous experience with compounding pharmacy orders is a significant plus
