Systems Administrator

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in the Managed Services industry. The position is based in Miami, Florida, and will require both remote troubleshooting and in-office tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to provide hands-on support for e3 and e5 licenses and travel to client sites as needed.Responsibilities: Administer and maintain systems, servers, and technologies, including Cisco Technologies, Dell Technologies, and Linux Technologies. Provide hands-on support for Microsoft's e3 and e5 licenses. Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory issues. Ensure efficient handling of printers and other server-related tasks. Utilize skills in Configuration Management and Deployment to ensure system efficiency. Assist with remote troubleshooting efforts and on-site support as needed. Work with MS Office 365 and O 365 for various administrative tasks. Utilize Backup Technologies to ensure data safety and integrity. Visit client sites to provide hands-on support and troubleshoot system issues. Maintain a high level of technical knowledge across a broad range of systems and technologies. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Technologies, Dell Technologies, Linux Technologies, Microsoft, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management, Deployments, MS Office 365, and O 365. Minimum of five years' experience in a Systems Administrator role within the Managed Services industry. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Strong knowledge of system security techniques and the ability to implement them effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable manner. Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting server infrastructure. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies. Demonstrated ability to stay current with technological trends and innovations in the field of system administration. Proven track record of maintaining high levels of system performance and availability. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
