Description Robert Half has a great opportunity for a staff accountant who will be able to do the following:The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in accurate and timely preparation, support and analysis of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows.Performance Expectations / Essential Functions
Prepare month-end journal entries and assist in compilation of financial statements and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Complete audit-quality account reconciliations monthly for balance sheet accounts including the capital projects in progress accounts, researching and correcting account discrepancies.
Review coding of A/P, A/R and similar transactions to ensure they are coded to the correct account and in the proper period.
Assist Corporate Controller in providing schedules and commentary clearly and articulately explaining variances, both favorable and unfavorable to projections.
Work as a part of a team exhibiting cooperative behavior that maximizes effectiveness and efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality and appropriate use of financial, personnel and other private information.
