Description We are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant with experience in the hospitality industry and proficient in using Sage Intacct. You will be responsible for providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and assisting with monthly close procedures.Responsibilities:
Enter financial transactions into internal databases and Sage Intacct software.
Process and record transactions consistently categorizing as per the guidelines.
Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Assist in monthly closing procedures and generate financial reports.
Perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger functions.
Liaise with other departments to improve financial procedures.
Handle inventory audits to ensure accurate reporting.
Assisting with audit preparation and compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Proven experience as a Junior Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Experience with Sage Intacct software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
