Description We are currently seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. You will also play an essential role in developing and setting up databases to meet the needs of our users.Responsibilities:
Plan and develop databases, ensuring security, data integrity, and optimal performance.
Monitor database performance, implement changes and adjustments as necessary to maintain expected performance levels.
Establish data management protocols and oversee access to databases to ensure security and privacy.
Develop and manage back-up procedures for database information.
Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for database issues.
Design and implement database maintenance plans to ensure data integrity.
Coordinate with different department teams to meet business requirements and ensure system compatibility.
Keep up to date with developments in database technologies and implement relevant improvements.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related subject.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator.
Proficiency in database software/web applications, including MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Strong knowledge of database design principles, data privacy laws, and security management tactics.
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
