Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team based in Miami, Florida. This role will entail managing our accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, and developing efficient payment procedures. You will also be responsible for supervising the accounts payable team, managing vendor relationships, and auditing financial documents and procedures.Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable department and ensure accurate and timely processing of payments Develop and implement effective accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency Supervise accounts payable team members, providing them with guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development Manage relationships with vendors and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise Audit financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements, and calculate tax payments and returns Analyze financial statements and reports to identify any discrepancies and resolve them promptly Prepare financial statements in accordance with our financial policies and regulations Implement and manage inventory systems to ensure accurate reporting of vendor managed inventory Manage accruals and expense accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and maintain financial integrity across the organization. Requirements Possession of a minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role within Accounts Payable Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures Prior experience in supervisory management, demonstrating strong leadership skills Familiarity with audit procedures and able to conduct internal audits as required Ability to analyze financial statements and provide insights for business decision making Experience in preparing financial statements in line with standard accounting practices Strong vendor management skills with a focus on building and maintaining productive relationships Understanding of Vendor Manage Inventory systems and processes Knowledge of accruals and expense accruals, and the ability to manage these effectively within the accounts payable function A strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality in handling financial information.
