We can’t wait to welcome you!The RoleThe Strategic Account Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for the overall sales for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, in all aspects of the leisure market including a specific focus on driving sales to the Caribbean and Mexico markets. In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining client relationships with wholesale accounts, large third-party leisure accounts and FIT clients.What you'll do

Develop sales strategies and tactical plans for the leisure market segment to achieve revenue and room night goals.

Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.

Target accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation.

Utilize negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

Manage complex business interactions and negotiations.

Leverage relationships with key and target accounts to increase market share.

Quarterly business reviews with designated ownership groups.

Recommend, plan, and participate in sales trips and industry related meetings as appropriate.

You'll be successful if you have

Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including ability to handle client objections and disputes to achieve satisfactory results.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet simultaneous deadlines with attention to detail.

Demonstrated self-starter, exhibiting initiative, confidence, professionalism, and good judgment.

Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and parts of the world.

Required Qualifications/Experience

4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major or experience commensurate with role and responsibility.

5 years of experience in leisure sales.

Strong professional presentation skills.

Global and/or Multi Property Experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Remote based in New York City or Miami.

Caribbean/ Mexico market experience preferred.

Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
