We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in Quickbooks desktop and online accounting software 3-5 years minimum experience. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Duties:

-Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries to reflect financial transactions.

-Conduct bank and account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.

-Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

-Perform regulatory reporting as required by governing bodies.

-Support financial auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.

-AP services and reporting

-Maintain general ledger accounting to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.

-Sales Tax filing

Requirements:

-Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role.

-Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop and Online software.

-Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and compliance standards.

-Experience with journal entries, bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting, AP and AR.

-Ability to prepare financial statements accurately and timely.

-Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

-Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
