Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Superintendent to oversee our commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes, particularly in the context of metal buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee the daily operations of construction sites from planning to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate the activities of the construction team, including subcontractors and laborers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials, ensuring all work complies with specifications, building codes, and client expectations.
Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, material deliveries, inspections, and change orders.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification and other relevant safety certifications are preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
