A well established Jacksonville Beach Land Survey company is looking for experienced,or teachable, dependable Field Crew Personnel. Paid vacation &sick; most Holidays are paid. We have recently negotiated for health insurance, a perfect time for a new start.
We are mainly looking for Party Chief Applicants or even a Junior Party Chief that wants to learn to really survey. Willing to learn to lead a survey crew (mostly 2 men crews)and more important one that is willing to learn, MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM( or be willing to learn how) field calculations, CLEAR COMPLETE Legible FIELD NOTES, various types of surveying -boundary, topographic, construction staking; As-built surveys, ALTA, tree surveys, etc. Must be able to provide accurate, legible field notes, and make field survey decisions on boundary surveys. Experience with TDS is a plus, but not required. We use Trimble, Spectra Precision Rangers, robot,GPS and Topcon/Nikon Total Stations
We are looking for thorough surveyors that take pride in his/her work and DRUG FREE- No tolerance. We strive for results, but not at the expense of poor quality. Looking for anyone that wants learn to survey taking the time to do things right without cutting corners. We do NOT want point sprayers. This would be a perfect spot for that I-man that has just not been given the chance to move up or even better for a "seasoned" crew chief that has pride and wants to help the PLS with Land survey decisions.
Must have valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record. All applicants must have reliable transportation.
