Description National Bank Seeking Training Developer (1 Position) Overview: Are you an instructional designer with a passion for building engaging and effective training programs? Do you thrive on clear communication and possess strong project management skills? Our National Bank is seeking a highly motivated Training Developer to join our team for a contract, 20-week contract position (start date July 1st, 2024, end date December 2024). This role will run concurrently with our Procedure Writer positions, and you will be instrumental in developing a robust training program for the rollout of our new/updated procedures. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Procedure Writer(s) and subject matter experts (SMEs) within the Governance team to develop a comprehensive training program for the new/updated BSA/AML compliance procedures. Apply adult learning principles to design engaging and effective training modules tailored to the needs of the first-line risk management team. Utilize a variety of training methods (e.g., eLearning, instructor-led training, simulations) to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer. Develop clear and concise training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assessments. Implement the training program, including piloting, delivery, and evaluation. Manage all aspects of the project timeline and budget, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope. Maintain meticulous documentation throughout the development and implementation phases. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Training Developer or Instructional Designer. Strong understanding of risk management principles, particularly related to BSA/AML compliance (preferred). Demonstrated ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and translate complex information into clear and concise training materials. Experience designing and developing training programs for adult learners, utilizing a variety of training methods. Proven project management skills, including needs assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training development tools (preferred). Requirements Proven experience as a Training Developer or Instructional Designer.
