job detailsWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The Accounting Clerk will support the daily operations of the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and bookkeeping tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable with numbers, and eager to learn.salary: $20 - $22 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Assist with processing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements with the company's ledger, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues.

Filing & Document Management: Organize and maintain accounting documents and records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements, both physically and electronically.

Expense Reporting: Assist with tracking employee expenses and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Assisting in Audits: Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering and organizing required documents.

General Ledger Entries: Post journal entries to the general ledger as needed, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Vendor & Customer Communication: Assist with communication related to billing issues, vendor inquiries, and customer account updates.

Clerical Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting team, such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and managing office supplies.

Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as requested by the accounting team.
