Job Description:

As a Purchasing Assistant and General Office Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting our construction projects by managing purchasing processes, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment and more. Additionally, you will assist in various office tasks to help maintain an efficient and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assisting the president in all areas of operations

- Assist in the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

-Schedule, onboarding, and updating clients

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, negotiating prices, and terms to secure the best deals.

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.

- Support project managers and the construction team with timely information and resources.

- Handle general office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and managing correspondence.

- Assist in scheduling meetings, organizing events, and maintaining office supplies.

- Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and office management processes.

Qualifications:

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, google products, calendars, management systems (portals) etc and familiarity with procurement software.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
