Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of immediate and relevant restaurant management experience.
- A team player who is willing to learn from others.
- Self motivated and a problem solver.
- Able to operate in a sometimes hectic and stressful environment.
- Deliberate and concise decision making - Be direct but respectful.
- Must speak fluent and clear English - multi-lingual is a huge plus. Overwhelmingly our
customers speak english as a common language. But if we are able to accommodate, we
can make customers feel more comfortable by speaking their native language. Spanish,
Creole and Swedish are commonly spoken in our neighborhood.
Job summary:
- As the store manager you will need to be THE model of great customer service and team
work to your staff. No one is perfect but you will be setting the tone of the customer and
employee experience. You will be responsible for building, training and maintaining your
team.
- Must have great customer service skills. You will be the person that takes complaints - you
must be able to maintain composure and take actions to remedy mistakes in the moment.
You will do this in person and online.
- Lead your team to success in meeting financial goals by fostering an environment that
promotes team work and high performance. Familiarity with Square POS or other retail
technology is required.
- Encouraging your team to grow and learn more about their roles and duties is essential. This
requires coaching and sometimes correction. You must be able to equip your team with the
knowledge and skills to be successful. You will conduct employee reviews.
- Must be able to hold your team to a standard and make corrections when necessary to
ensure they are complying with guidelines and procedures.
- Inventory and ordering happens multiple times a week with multiple vendors. The ability to
maintain relationships with our vendors is important. Must be able to count and order
product in a timely manner without over ordering. You will also regulate and track spending
each week.
- Scheduling and time off requests - This is your weekly responsibility for a team of 5-10
people depending on time of year. Must be able to use scheduling and payroll software and
technology.
- Request and arrange needed maintenance or services for equipment, building or grounds
- Ensure health and sanitation standards are being met and health inspections are being
passed.
Physical Demands of the job:
- Must be able to learn and perform tasks at each station in the workflow. Requires walking,
Standing and lifting.
- Must be able to work longer than 8 hour shifts. Requires stamina and attentiveness
- Must be able to climb stairs and lift 50 lbs
- Must have the ability to control quality, determine outcomes and give clear directions for
resolutions when they are needed. Requires mental dexterity. Also requires the ability to
taste, smell, see, hear and speak.
- Must be able to communicate between departments for ordering and customer questions.
Requires the ability to verbally communicate and delegate tasks when necessary.

Pay: Starting Salary of $45,000. Due to working directly with customers so frequently, this
position is also tipped. Inquire for more details.
Shifts: Flexible schedule, Early morning - Evening. Our schedule ranges from 5:30a - 7pm
