Specializing in cutting-edge solutions for aircraft safety and performance, our Lightning Lab is at the forefront of research and development, ensuring the highest standards of protection for aircraft and their components.Your impact: As a key member of our Team, you will perform precipitation static, high voltage, and high current tests on a variety of aircraft components, providing invaluable insight and design guidance in lightning protection to our customers.Responsibilities:

Lead the design, testing, and development of lightning protection devices and products for aircraft, including Static Dischargers, Transtrike Diverter Strips, Antennas, and Lightning Arrestors.

Supervise and manage the high voltage Lightning and Electrostatics laboratory.

Perform Lightning Direct Effects testing in accordance with MIL-STD, RTCA, and FAA specifications.

Review and prepare technical documents including test procedures, reports, and technical audits.

Investigate procedural noncompliance, identify root causes, and develop procedures to avoid repeat incidents.

Develop and prepare data packages for FAA PMA, TSO & STC.

Review and approve Qualification Test Reports & Certification Test Plans.

Prepare Technical Statements and Service Bulletins in support of customer service, sales, and marketing.

Collaborate within cross-functional teams to develop solutions that exceed customers' expectations and win new business and program opportunities.

Perform P Static Testing.

Provide training as necessary to support product development.
