Legal Assistant

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant with PreLitigation experience, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role primarily involves providing comprehensive legal support for a PI firm. The successful candidate will be expected to manage case files, utilize legal software, handle client complaints, and perform various administrative duties. Responsibilities: Use Case Management Software to organize and manage case files efficiently. Manage and maintain a well-organized Management System. Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites to generate reports and manage data. Prepare legal briefings and assist in the preparation of legal documents. Manage office calendar and schedule appointments and meetings. Handle client complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Prepare and manage legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Requirements Possesses at least one year of experience in a legal assistant role or similar position. Proficient in using Case Management Software. Pre-Litigation, Pre Suit experience. Demonstrated ability to work with Management Systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites. E-file experience Experience in calendar management and scheduling. Demonstrated ability to handle complaints and resolve issues.
