Ira Walden & Sons, Inc. is seeking to hire an Estimator/Project Manager for residential and commercial painting projects. Individual must be experienced, hands-on with a sense of urgency and ability to get things done at the highest level of quality.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide accurate, competitive, and profitableestimates.
Develop scopes of work, and manage workforce, equipment and subcontractors to ensure jobs can
be completed safely and profitably.
Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met.
Maintainrequired project documentation.
Direct painting crews to ensure that company objectives for production, quality and safety are met
or exceeded.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years estimating experience.
College degree. Formal training in the construction industry/project management a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish a plus.
Experience using takeoff and estimating software and interpreting blueprints.
Strong analytical skills.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Willing to submit to background check and drug test.
