We build high-end, luxury homes from the ground up and are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented and QuickBooks proficient Project Accounting Specialist for immediate hire in our beautiful Miami Beach waterfront office. This is an opportunity to work in a youthful and fun environment.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of construction accounting is required.
· 3+ years of QuickBooks experience is required.
· Process accounts payable and receivable and complete AIA Pay Applications for multiple projects while maintaining accurate budgets.
· Keep accurate logs; assist with construction releases, process credit card payments, and request insurance certificates as needed.
· Perform other miscellaneous accounting duties as assigned.
Skills:
· Ability to multitask, handle multiple requests and work quickly but accurately.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Positive, can-do attitude and an overall team player who pays attention to detail and has a commitment to accuracy.
· High computer literacy, strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook is required.
· Communicating with project managers and other team members.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Spanish a plus!
Details:
Office hours: 8AM-5PM.
1 hour allocated for lunch.
Health Insurance after 90 days.
PTO after 90 days.
Salary based on experience, starting $80,000 - $90,000 base salary.
