Location: 125 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL, 33765VCA Gulf Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a full time Veterinary Technician to join our team in Clearwater, FL!We are an AAHA-accredited 2-doctor practice, offering primary care, illness care, surgery, dentistry, and more. We see dogs, cats, pocket pets and rabbits, open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 7:00pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, and closed on Sundays.Check out our website here: https://vcahospitals.com/gulf-bayAbout the RoleAs Veterinary Technician you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

Compassionate patient care

Client education and care

Venipuncture and catheter placement

Radiology and diagnostics

Lab sample collection and processing

Surgical preparation and assisting

Anesthesia monitoring

Dentistry

Medication preparation and administration

Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

Medical recordkeeping
