The Midtown Group has been asked to fulfill two important temporary Production Editor roles for the Assessment Production Editing Department of one of DC's top Education Research related Think Tanks.
Ideal candidates will have degrees in English or another closely related major, have strong academic backgrounds and excellent editing skills, and be excited about gaining professional experience with a leading organization.
All applicants should willing to work on-site in Georgetown through the remainder of the year, perhaps longer.
Here are the details:
The position primarily requires proofreading of secure academic test forms. Some administrative work is also required (to perform work tracking in monday.com, for instance). There may be some copyediting work.
Requirements:
English degree and proven editing/proofreading, we can train in monday.com, Outlook, etc. Some Microsoft Word skills and basic Adobe skills would be needed (to fill out PDF forms and possibly to perform online editing with Microsoft Word track changes).
Hours of the position:
8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
