This position is perfect for those looking to earn extra cash with flexible hours, primarily during nights and weekends, with occasional weekday business hours as needed. You will be part of a team that specializes in high-end events, delivering exceptional service and exquisite floral arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation: Safely drive and operate a utility van for deliveries and event set-ups. Ability to drive a box truck is a bonus but not required.
Event Set-Up: Assist with the set-up and breakdown of floral arrangements and décor at high-end events, ensuring every detail meets our exacting standards.
Client Interaction: Engage professionally and courteously with our high-end clientele and team members, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Pick-Ups: Conduct late-night pick-ups of event materials, offering a competitive flat rate for each pick-up.
Logistics: Navigate and drive comfortably in Washington, DC, and surrounding areas.
Lifting: Must be able to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Driver’s License: Must have a valid, legal driver’s license.
Experience: Prior experience driving utility vans is preferred.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, with the ability to interact with high-end clientele and work well within a team.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to upholding the high standards required for luxury events.
Availability: Flexibility to work anywhere from 1 to 8 shifts per week, depending on your availability. Some weekday availability is a plus.
Location Knowledge: Familiarity with driving in Washington, DC, is essential.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: Pay is guaranteed for a minimum of 4 hours per shift, with opportunities for additional hours based on demand.
Flat Rate Fee: Competitive flat rate fee for late-night pick-ups.
