We currently have an opening for one (and possibly two) experienced Residential Finish Carpenters. Our carpenters work on both rough and finish tasks that range from basic rough carpentry to the installation of complicated door systems or elaborate millwork. Our work is challenging and exciting.

2. You should have worked as a carpenter for a general contractor or remodeler. We are particularly interested in hiring a carpenter with strong finish carpentry skills.
3. Be aware that we are interested in your interest in and aptitude for carpentry. The fact that you have done drywall work or plumbing or electrical work, etc. will clearly make you a more well-rounded tradesman, but will likely not be directly relevant in your work with us.
4. We are looking for an individual who enjoys carpentry and wants to work as a carpenter for the foreseeable future.
5. You should want to work as a carpenter because you really enjoy the work, not because it is the only way you have found to make a living. Members of our team were formerly lawyers, engineers, architects and artists. They are working with us because they truly enjoy and are challenged by the work.
6. You should be able to take constructive criticism, follow directions, work as a member of a team, and have a sense of humor.
7. You should have reliable transportation (a truck is not required) and be able to handle all the other requirements of regular employment.
