Job Responsibilities:
Handle all requests for quotation promptly and follow through to completion. Maintain lines of communication with customers, suppliers, sales team members and management.
Obtain pricing from suppliers to competitively win bids and maximize margins.
Process sales orders timely so that any contract issues can be addressed and resolved with the customer and/or supplier.
Participate in calls and meetings with all sales team members to review sales metrics, share information on customers and suppliers, and discuss sales goals and priorities.
Respond to all communications from customers and suppliers in a timely manner.
Prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Provide input to management on increasing productivity and efficiency to improve results.
Build rapport with customers, suppliers and all team members to foster a positive work environment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Multi-tasking, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a high volume and deadline-oriented environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Detail oriented, proactive, and innovative thinker
Proficient with all Microsoft Office and Google programs
Maven’s office is in Rockville near Shady Grove Metro. This job must be performed on site. Employment eligibility verification and a pre-employment background check are required.
