Field Technician/ Cable Tech (Sterling)
MSP in Sterling, VA looking for a field technician/installer with knowledge of infrastructure cabling.
Work involve running cable (CAT5,CAT6,Coax), terminating and cross-connecting on 110 block and terminating on patch panel.
Expert knowledge of both commercial and residential cabling and wiring for analog phone lines, DSL, ISDN, T1, and Ethernet.
Must be reliable and punctual
Must have reliable clean driving records
Knowledge of the following will be helpful:
Working knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and VOIP
IT support: Knowledge of desktop and workstation support
IT repair: Computer Hardware repair.
Job will require 70% outside on the field at customer site and 30% at the office.
Responsible for managing inventory
This is a Full Time job.
