There are two questions at the bottom of this ad to be answered by every applicant. All resumes received without answers will be discarded.

Ideal candidates will be able to determine customer needs and provide appropriate products and guidance. Retail or restaurant experience is required but bike shop experience, while beneficial, is not. Must be able to assist the wide variety of people biking for transportation in the city.
Candidates should be creative thinkers with excellent organizational and time management skills.
ASL or Spanish language skills highly desired.
One weekend day availability is required.
Employee discounts on bikes and accessories.
Full time hours offered until end of season in November.
Submit resume and cover letter via email. Answer the two questions below so that we can get a sense of you beyond your resume. There is no length requirement for the responses as long as you believe they answer the question.
1. Tell us about a special skill you have. Where did you learn it and who taught you how to do it?
2. When was the last time you rode a bike? Where did you go and why?
Should you care to submit a resume without these questions answered, it will be as if no resume was ever sent. If you don't care for the questions, make up two better questions and submit the answers to those. We'd prefer that you talk about bikes though, as our attention tends to shift if you're discussing something other than bikes. An AI generated response is worse than no response at all.
