The Daily Rider is a bicycle shop on the growing, dynamic H Street corridor. We sell and service bicycles and e-bikes that are primarily used for transportation. The shop is adding to our staff of customer focused service professionals.
Candidates for this position should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
General Skills:
Assess bikes for repair and write coherent work orders for follow-up
Discuss repair assessments and estimates with customers
Communicate with fellow staff members and management verbally and in writing regarding ongoing repairs, special orders, and customer requests.
Mechanical Skills
Basic adjustment, installation, and diagnosis of all modern drivetrains, brake systems, wheels, and other standard components
Adjustment and maintenance of hydraulic and cable actuated disc brake systems
Adjustment and maintenance of internally geared hubs
Experience with wheel building
