We are seeking a part time or full-time professional leasing specialist for a fun and growing, full-service real estate and property management business in Washington, DC. This person will assist us with marketing and leasing properties and providing administrative support for leasing and rental documentation.

The primary role of this position is to serve as a face of the company, coordinating and meeting with prospective tenants, showing properties, screening potential tenants, conducting orientation of new tenants, and documenting property move in/move out conditions for tenants. Additionally, this person would oversee and assist with performing some clerical tasks.

This person would respond quickly to requests for showings, have strong problem solving skills, think ahead and be capable of being detail oriented as well as understanding the big picture. This person will take pride in the quality and care of tenant relationships and property preparation and readiness. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as is organizational skills and general enthusiasm for the real estate field and the role.

The successful applicant will be highly organized with the ability to triage and manage ongoing projects and competing deadlines. There are nearly always multiple items in the air at once. Top applicants are proficient multitaskers, are organized and have strong people skills that will help them achieve occupancy and rental goals. This person will understand that this is a sales and customer service with relationship building at its core, beginning with the first showing email, showing and beyond.

This job is never boring. Every day is different, and some days more office based, and others more 'in the field' based. There are a variety of activities to keep it interesting and we need team members who enjoy a change from one day to the next.

QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years in real estate and or property management is preferred, but experience in a similar sales, customer service, property management, or maintenance role will be considered. We are open to training smart and motivated people who want to learn the business.

Strong work ethic and initiative.

Washington, DC based is required

Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
