Heavy Construction Company in Fairfax, VA is seeking an experienced office assistant with background in construction. This is an entry level position that requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented and dedicated individual with the opportunity of advancement within the company.
Job Description
Assist project manager with project related responsibilities
Set up new projects and complete assigned tasks until project completion
Prepare, organize and update project information for field employees
Maintain various logs tracking project tasks and updates
Maintain electronic and paper filing of project documents
Requirements
Must have prior experience (3+ years working in a construction company)
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Specifically EXCEL)
Experience with obtaining construction permits
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic, high-level of professionalism and “can-do” attitude
Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel at all levels
Must be punctual, reliable and trustworthy
Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish)
