Location: Traveling to Washington DC, Arlington, Alexandria, Springfield, Falls Church, McLean, Bethesda, Potomac, and the surrounding area.
Overview:
Home Remodeling Contractor in Oldtown Alexandria is seeking a talented freelance professional to join our team as an Architect, Home Inspector, Interior Designer, Kitchen and bath Estimator, or Home Remodeling Salesman. This position offers the flexibility of working 10 to 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Maintain a high level of customer service by meeting with clients to understand their home remodeling needs.
Scope of Work: Work closely with clients to assess and define the scope of work for various projects, including full house remodels, kitchen and bathroom renovations, and related home improvement endeavors.
Project Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates, considering materials, labor costs, and other relevant expenses. Provide clients with transparent and comprehensive cost breakdowns.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the design and construction teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and project execution.
Advisory Role: Provide professional advice and recommendations to clients regarding design choices, material selection, and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as an Architect, Home Inspector, Interior Designer, Kitchen & Bath Estimator, or Home Remodeling Salesman.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients. Proficient in preparing project estimates and scoping documents.
Flexibility: Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a freelance setting. Flexibility to adapt to the varying demands of different projects.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in relevant tools and software for the respective role (e.g., CAD software, project estimation tools, etc.).
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address challenges in the remodeling process.
