Maids in Brown is a house cleaning service in Washington, DC area. We are seeking an Office Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA to help our company scale to the next level. We are an established service business. We are looking for the perfect partner to manage our staff and provide excellent customer service to our clients. This person must be able to work directly with the owner and be able to manage a staff of 15+ and professionally communicate with our client.
Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:
Demonstrate effective project management skills
Faithfully execute the business plan, achieving or exceeding planned business goals.
Integrate all major operating functions of the business
Resolve issues effectively, being comfortable with conflict
Ensure that everyone is following and adhering to the company’s core processes and operating system with consistency.
Dependably demonstrate a relentless obsession for value alignment.
Confirm that all key messages are consistently cascaded throughout the organization as Standard Operating Procedure.
Effectively collaborate with the CEO and stay on the same page.
Maintain a high level of mutual respect with the CEO.
Posting job on social media and other sites
Interviews hires and hires new staff
Terminating employee when necessary
Taking incoming client calls and booking appointment
Responding to live chat and other social media sites.
Schedules jobs to teams
Resolves and responds to staff and customer issues.
Assigns tasks to workers and follow up with clients to completed work for conformance to standards.
Purchases, issues and orders necessary supplies and equipment and ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
Responsible for communicating with customers and update clients and staff on the condition of the or work in progress.
Must attend all management meeting and report out
Other job duties as assigned
Requirements & Abilities
Minimum of 3 years experience in managing, planning, and customer service
Minimum of 3 years experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation, and motivation
Proven skills in business leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and hold teams accountable
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency with computers and software programs
Demonstrated ability to multitask
Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress, and crisis situations
Knowledge of social media
Bi-Lingual – Spanish speaking required.
Background check and drug test required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 per hour plus bonus
