Large Community Association in Alexandria is seeking a full-time Covenants Director.
The position manages buildings and grounds inspections, as well as community compliance. Provides operational support to Management, the Board of Directors, and the Covenants Committee and its members to ensure understanding and conformance of the Association's covenants, deeds, bylaws, guidelines, standards, and procedures. General supervision is received from the General Manager.
The Director of Covenants and Grounds Inspector reviews applications for exterior and interior home improvements and resale inspections.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Regular attendance and punctuality
Assure that the policies, resolutions, and other acts of the Board are carried out
Be knowledgeable of all Association Governing Documents, Rules and Regulations and general legal requirements of a community association
Provide excellent customer service and maintain open lines of communication with fellow Management, homeowners, and The Board of Directors
Prepare weekly and monthly reports, as required by Management
Manage Resale Process
Such other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be directed and required
Qualifications
Previous property management experience and knowledge are a must.
Excellent organizational skills and project management

Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work under pressure, adjust to constant changes, handle multiple tasks, and coordinate the work of others
Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats and in a timely manner
Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships
Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 20 lbs. or more following appropriate safety procedures
Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in person with our clients in order to resolve issues and manage the business
Must be mobile enough to move around both the office in order to make copies, send mail and faxes, and walk around the property
Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail-oriented, and have good reasoning skills
Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes, and delays
A driver's license is required
Attends meetings as required.
JOB INFORMATION
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Salary: $25-$27/Hr. Depending on experience.
