- At least ten years' experience and significant hands-on program and/or project management experience from initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes as prescribed by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to effectively manage a diverse team of subject matter experts
- Proficiency with communicating and tailoring messaging to receiving audiences
- Capability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
- Prior experience managing and publishing weekly/monthly status reports of activities, accomplishments, issues, and key decisions
- Expertise with budget forecasting capital project delivery
- PMP Certification required
- ITIL v4 Certified a plus
- Prior experience working at Amtrak, in transportation, or military a bonus
