As a Project Manager supporting the Department of Energy, you will be trusted to work on complex projects and be responsible Providing technical, administrative, and operational management of a variety of development efforts and projects ranging from simple to complex.

Supervise assigned project teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and on budget, as well as within authorized scope.
Drive the development of high-level project plans, proposals, reports, and reporting.
Conduct planning activities and provide recommendations to client on task workload.
Document MS Project Schedules for Waterfall efforts.
Analyze user and stakeholder needs to determine alignment with business and functional requirements for a variety of electronic health record systems and applications.
Attend and schedule customer meetings, keep and deliver meeting notes, and serve as primary client liaison for their assigned projects.
Coordinate the involvement of appropriate subject matter experts across the project lifecycle, as needed.
Generate recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.
Write and update project documentation including user manuals, presentations, and training materials.
Respond to inquiries from the client, technicians, and other customers.
Perform quality control and ensure quality assurance of project deliverables.
Submit project status and other assigned reports to the PMO and other stakeholders.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
Participate in special projects as required.
Occasional travel may be required. Your success will be measured through successful delivery of VTC infrastructure and related projects

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or clinical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
10+ years of related work experience.
Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or Agile certification such as Scrum Alliance CSM or Scaled Agile SAFe preferred.
Experience managing change control activities, including product backlogs, scope management, and impact and gap analysis.
Knowledge of system development methodology and project management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Microsoft Project.
Experience with JIRA or ServiceNow tools preferred
Experience managing multi-team development efforts.
Proven ability to work on a remote/distributed team.
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team with adjusting priorities and deadlines.
