POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Support Assistant (Part-time) aids the Customer Relations Specialist, BEST Assessments in handling the shipment of BEST assessment materials, providing telephone and customer service and support to BEST customers, and providing administrative support as needed. The incumbent will need to perform these duties at CAL’s office in Washington, DC, for the total of 17.5 hours weekly.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare, package, and ship BEST assessment materials under the supervision of Full-time Customer Relations Specialist, BEST AssessmentsMonitor and maintain inventory of BEST assessment productsEnter data and maintain database of trained test administrators for Adult English Language BEST assessmentsAssist with telephone and email support, including technical support, for BEST administrators and programsProvide administrative support (copying, printing, mailing correspondence data analysis), as neededOrganize and mail complimentary materials needed for training assignments and conference presentationsParticipate in periodic meetingsComplete other assignments at the direction of the Customer Relations Specialist
