Hello,
We are hiring handymen to work at our facility in Dover for full time work. Work is generally 9-5 and we are looking for people who have experience in:
-General carpentry : fixing doors, installing door knobs and hinges, putting furniture together and repairing furniture, window repair and replacement, paint prep and painting, hanging pictures/banners/blind, changing ceiling tile,
-Plumbing : Installing and replacing faucets and sink piping, installing and repairing toilets and shower head, unclogging drains, addressing leaks.
-Electric : Replace outlet cover, install new light bulbs, light switch, AC unit and fridge repair (when possible), install light fixture, installing battery powered smoke detectors
The day by day duties will vary depending on what work is needed.
Our team is also be responsible for general custodial work at the facility which will include :
-Sweeping, mopping, and taking out the garbage
-Cleaning the showers and bathrooms daily
-Dusting and interior window cleaning
-Office cleaning 2x a week
-Floor waxing 1-2x a year.
We are looking for 10 people and willing to train the right individuals. There will be a background check.
Pay is hourly and on a bi-weekly pay schedule. Your pay will depend on experience, but generally for someone that has the handyman skills the pay is between 19-23$/hr and for someone that will serve primarily as a custodial worker the pay is 15-18$/hr.
This is a full time job and is on the books and is steady work all year long.
