Stonybrook Golf is a public 9-hole public golf course located in the rolling hills of Litchfield CT serving the golfing public and members of the club. Under new ownership of PGA Professional Jill Philips and Executive Chef Jonathan Philips, the club has been renovated and rebranded, opening a brand-new clubhouse, restaurant, bar, and retail pro shop in August 2022. The restaurant formally called “Clubhouse Provisions”, stives to serve the public, and our members, by providing professional service, quality cuisine, craft cocktails, beer and wine, in a picturesque but lively setting.

Clubhouse Provisions is searching for team-oriented service professionals to come be a part of this growing and exciting operation!

Current Job Opportunity: Dining Room Manager – Full Time

This position requires a professional who can take ownership of the floor by handling, member & guest requests, reservations, and seating times. Candidate must be comfortable managing and training new team members, as well as be familiar with steps of service. This position reports directly to the Chef/Owner and will work closely with all managers to expand and better the Stonybrook brand. It is essential for the Dining Room Manager to uphold a high level of service, and candidates should possess beverage knowledge of wine, spirts, beer and various cuisines.

List of Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of Food and Beverage Hospitality or similar capacity

Minimum 3 years of Dining Room Management or similar capacity

Must possess quality service, food, wine, spirts and beer knowledge

Must work well with others, be personable and show good leadership skills

Must possess good computer skills

Serve Safe and Tips required

List of responsibilities but not limited to:

Scheduling, training, and overseeing all FOH Staff

Maintaining the reservation book daily

Maintaining and updating wine lists, signature cocktails, beer selection and all other beverages

Ordering and receiving inventory.

Inventory cost control

Setup and breakdown of member and nonmember events
