About Foxfire Mountain House

Established in 2016 by co-founders Eliza Clark and Tim Trojian, Foxfire Mountain House is celebrating its 9th year in operation. From its inception, our venue has focused on crafting one-of-a-kind experiences for our clientele, offering everything from intimate weekend escapes to extravagant wedding celebrations. We've garnered media attention for our distinctive design, culinary offerings, and signature wedding events. We're extremely excited to be opening our second location, Lost Fox Inn, by late-May 2024.

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities Include:

- Management of the Lost Fox Tavern alongside the General Manager & Head Chef

- Hiring, scheduling and training of FOH team with assistance from General Manager

- Ordering of beverage product and restaurant supplies with support from F&B Director

- Creation of beverage program with support from F&B Director

- Oversee beverage prep for both restaurant & catering service with support from bartenders

- Oversee set up for dining areas with support from FOH team

- Regular maintenance and updates to Toast POS & RESY

- The skills to manage a la carte dinner service for hotel guests and the dining public -or- catered events for up to 140 guests during our May-October event season.

- End of night closing of Bar Room/Event spaces

- Maintaining a clean and visually appealing work space at all times

- Serving, bartending, hosting, running food, taking and entering orders into Toast POS as needed

- Strong bartending knowledge and previous management experience an absolute must

- The ability to work with a tech-savvy team that uses Google Suite to ensure clear communication between departments

We're Looking For a Candidate Who Has:

- The ability to work creatively and be passionate about hospitality

- An insatiable appetite to stay current on industry changes and trends to ensure our dining & beverage program is compelling and thought provoking

- The ability to work within a team and inspire team members

- A need to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing, seasonal menus for both our restaurant and on-site events.

- Passion for detail, consistency, and timing

- A desire to learn, grow and evolve as a hospitality professional

- The ability to communicate clearly, positively and proactively with all departments to ensure a great staff/guest experience

Weekly Schedule (Approximate):

- Thursday 10:00am-4:00pm

- Friday 1:30pm-10:30pm

- Saturday 1:30pm-10:30pm

- Sunday 2:00pm-10:00pm

- Monday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Compensation & Benefits:

- $65-70k Annual Salary
