We are in need of one to two farm workers on a part-time to full-time basis starting imediately with the potential to work through October for the right candidate. We are flexible with the hours worked and each week could be a little different, weather dependent.
The job requires a lot of walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, carrying, and a lot of lifting heavy objects on a daily basis. There is a wide variety of tasks that will be preformed and the tasks are always changing with the seasons. Tasks can include but are not limited to: pulling weeds, laying down mulch, transplanting plants, harvesting plants, pulling more weeds, mowing and weed whacking, garden clean up and much more.
Experience helps but is not necessary as we are willing to teach you our preferred ways of completing tasks. You must be able to work in a group with others and be able to work alone. We keep a fast paced enviroment throughout the year and have high expectations for the work that will be performed. We are constantly checking to ensure the quality of work meets our standards and will happily teach you everything you need to know.
