I'm Looking for:
Experienced Groundsman for Tree Service
Drag cut branches from Tree to Woodchipper (required, intermittent)
Move cut logs from Tree to Dumpster by hand or with a cart (required, intermittent)
Bring gear from truck or trailer to work area and put away (required, will train)
Assist Rope Rigging operations (required, will train)
Take apart and clean and reassemble chainsaws ( a plus, can learn over time)
Rake up twigs, sawdust, leaves (a plus, can learn over time)
Assist stump grinding and other machine work
Regular Driver's License (required)
CDL and Medical card (a plus, but not mandatory)
My name is Leigh, I'm the owner of the company and I set up the jobs. I am there on the job as the foreman and a skilled groundsman to coordinate the entire job. I have a chipper with a winch and an mini excavator with a grapple for heavier jobs. I need basic groundsman to drag brush and move cut logs by hand or with a small hand cart.
I'm looking for a groundsman with real tree work experience. My ideal candidate has his own vehicle to get directly to the jobs when necessary or to meet at my equipment yard in Waterbury to prepare to go out on the jobs.
The jobs we do range from Torrington, Harwinton, over to West Hartford, down to Hamden, and sometimes down to Shelton, Trumbull, Monroe.
