Brand new state of the art manufacturing facility is hiring an Electrical Controls EngineerGrowing company, projected to double revenue this year!Description:
This position performs a variety of electrical engineering-related functions in support of the design and application of all controls related accessories. This will include a range of engineering duties from calculations, CAD drafting, testing, and other similar technical functions.
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for process standardization, sourcing, control panel design, testing and writing process procedures.
They will support the inside and outside sales team, manufacturing team, distributors, end-users by answering application questions
They will need to be comfortable interacting with the ERP system including looking up parts, BOM's, inventory locations, costs, etc.
They will be designing control panels to adhere to UL508a standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or similar engineering discipline. Associates degree in electrical engineering with 3 years experience (also accepted). Electrical Controls Designer with 10+ years’ experience (also accepted). Three to five years’ experience in a technical manufacturing or similar environment.
